Having earned a degree in hospitality, Claudia began her career in hotel management. Her diverse interests and skills opened doors for her to become a Sales Manager and then Director for a student travel company sending high school students abroad. Originally from Bogota, Colombia and fluent in Spanish, Claudia moved abroad herself to become the School Director for an English Language school in Mexico City and Quito, Ecuador.
After returning to sales as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep for Merck, she transitioned to working as an Office Manager for startups in the biotech field, at an alternative energy (solar) research lab, and for a data security IT company.
Throughout her colorful career, every environment has placed a high value on communicating with others. Having grown up working in her father’s medical practice, Claudia has always enjoyed interacting with patients, so returning to the healthcare industry was a natural fit.
When not in the office, she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing sports. She has run 7 marathons, over a dozen half-marathons, and is always looking forward to the next adventure!
